Panos Laskarakis

I first got involved in photography in 2005 and since then I have kept on evolving my techniques and knowledge, through a series of valuable experiences, by visiting several places on the planet like the Arctic, Africa, Asia, America, and Europe, capturing impressive sights with a different perspective.

Nature photography is love, passion, exploration, adventure, and creation. I always look for dramatic action and I feel alive in every sense when I experience the greatness of natural elements. I live my life traveling to every possible destination, searching for days on end for instantaneous, breathless scenes.

Wildlife, landscape, and tribes compose my work!

The key behind great photography is hidden in the huge variety of landscapes, wildlife, and cultures as well as in the incredible wonders that emerge through the endless, magnificent power of nature. Photography is not only setting the limits of an instant shooting at the place of the main action, but also the printing and presentation in the gallery where nature comes to life in front of the public eye.

There, my feelings together with my lust for beauty create an indispensable bond with my guests.

Professional nature photography is a combination of two major fields for me.

My first field has to do with the organization of exclusive photographic trips – safaris around the world tailored to your dreams. During my work in the wild, I have become an explorer, a guide, and a professional teacher sharing my passion and knowledge with whoever might be interested in wildlife and landscape photography. I am an expert at organizing workshops focused strictly on improvement as far as photography is concerned as well as the needs and demands of my people! In this case, there is something very important. Everything I arrange for them is the best available and everything I have seen and admired I would like them to see and admire as well. My slogan is “The most adventurous combined with the most luxurious is the most spectacular. I co-operate with unique resorts in the most amazing locations in the heart of the wonders of nature around the world, doing my best to visit them in the most suitable season. My guides and naturalists are excellent and many times have been involved in many projects being carried out by organizations like BBC and National Geographic.

Participation applies not only to photographers of every level but also to every traveler, who is in love with nature and adventure.

The second field is the modification of these values of nature into a unique product of fine art, bringing together the reality of the moment in the wild, with the mythic, extraordinary imagination of the people. It is a personal moment that I share with the ones who appreciate my work.

The printing and presentation are another favorite procedure of mine, targeting the best artistic product when all my efforts, expectations, and anxiety are rewarded.

These products result from the Metal Print process on high-definition surfaces. The manufacturing process for aluminum panels uses the latest technology to provide the highest quality. On the other hand, it makes the prints vibrant, durable, and indestructible over time, as well as breathtaking with rich, bright colors, strong contrast, and sharpness.

Through the process of dye sublimation images are infused into the specially coated emulsion giving them the quality of porcelain. No papers, adhesives, or other materials are used. So it is not affected by environmental conditions, such as heat or moisture. They are waterproof, fireproof, or even UV resistant. It is the ultimate choice for applications that require durable materials, such as hotel and office decoration, as well as for photographic exhibitions or projects requiring top quality and durability.

About my place … Epirus, Pindos, and Zagoria villages

In the heart of Epirus, a network of traditional stone villages is perched on the northern mountain range of Pindos, composing a puzzle of unique landscapes, canyons, rivers, stone bridges, giant mountains, and alpine drakon lakes. Zagorohoria is a part of a natural park, full of wildlife and a big variety of flora and fauna. Every season of the year this glory of nature is transformed into different illustrations of colors and forms. In this small wonderful world are kept well the secrets of art photography, which I have to reveal, during my photo expeditions…

Οι πρώτες φωτογραφικές εμπειρίες του λαμβάνουν χώρα το 2005 και με γρήγορους ρυθμούς εξελίσσονται σε ένα φωτογραφικό ντόμινο εμπειριών, γνώσεων και τεχνικής σε διάφορα μέρη του πλανήτη όπως η Αρκτική, τα εθνικά πάρκα της βόρειας Αμερικής, της Αφρικής, της Ασίας, της Ευρώπης και της Ελλάδος, απαθανατίζοντας εντυπωσιακά θεάματα από μια διαφορική οπτική.

H φωτογραφία για μένα συμπεριλαμβάνει την άγρια φύση, τα τοπία και τις φυλές ανά τον κόσμο και μεταφράζεται ως αγάπη, εξερεύνηση, πάθος, περιπέτεια και δημιουργία. Πάντοτε επιδιώκω την απόλυτη δράση και αισθάνομαι πραγματικά ζωντανός όταν είμαι ανάμεσα στο μεγαλείο των στοιχείων της φύσης. Θα μπορούσα να ταξιδεύω για μέρες στο άγνωστο αναζητώντας στιγμές αυθόρμητες και σκηνές διαφορετικές, έστω κι αν πρόκειται για ένα μόνο φωτογραφικό στιγμιότυπο. Κάθε φορά που παίρνω θέση πίσω από τη φωτογραφική μου μηχανή υπάρχει πάντα κάτι διαφορετικό για να απαθανατίσω.

Το κλειδί για μια ζωντανή φωτογραφία κρύβεται μέσα στην τεράστια ποικιλία της ζωής και των πολιτισμών καθώς και στα μεγάλα θεάματα που ξεπροβάλλουν μέσα από την μεγαλειώδη δύναμη της φύσης.

Όμως φωτογραφία δεν είναι μονάχα η οριοθέτηση της εικόνας στον τόπο της κύριας δράσης αλλά και η στιγμή της εκτύπωσης και της παρουσίασης όπου η φύση ζωντανεύει μπροστά στα μάτια των θεατών μέσα στον εκθεσιακό χώρο…

Εκεί τα συναισθήματα του φωτογράφου, της δημιουργίας και του εκθεσιακού κοινού γίνονται ένα. Εκεί η φωτογραφία αποκτά ουσία και ορίζεται στο τέλειο.

Το πρώτο σκέλος περιλαμβάνει την οργάνωση αποκλειστικών φωτογραφικών αποστολών και σαφάρι σε όλο τον κόσμο προσαρμοσμένα στα όνειρά σας και τις προσδοκίες σας. Κατά τη διάρκεια της δουλειάς μου στην άγρια φύση, έγινα επαγγελματίας εκπαιδευτής φωτογραφίας, τουριστικός πράκτορας, φυσιοδίφης και εξερευνητής, που μοιράζομαι το πάθος και τη γνώση μου με όσους ενδιαφέρονται για την άγρια φύση και τα ταξίδια. Είμαι ειδικός στη διοργάνωση σεμιναρίων, που εστιάζονται αποκλειστικά στη βελτίωση των φωτογραφικών σας τεχνικών, καθώς και στην οργάνωση ταξιδιών στα πιο απίθανα σημεία του πλανήτη, με σκοπό την απόκτηση μοναδικών ταξιδιωτικών εμπειριών και την παρακολούθηση φυσικών θεαμάτων που κόβουν την ανάσα, με άνεση και ασφάλεια! Σε αυτό το σημείο αναφέρω κάτι πολύ σημαντικό. Οτιδήποτε αναλαμβάνω για εσάς συμπεριλαμβάνει ένα μοναδικό συνδυασμό. Το μείζον εντυπωσιακό της άγριας φύσης σε κύρια βάση, σε συνδυασμό με την απόλυτη πολυτέλεια της θέασης για τους συμμετέχοντες. Το σύνθημά μου είναι: “Ό,τι πιο περιπετειώδες σε συνδυασμό ό,τι πιο πολυτελές είναι ό,τι πιο εντυπωσιακό.” Συνεργάζομαι με κάποια από τα πιο ιδιαίτερα πολυτελή θέρετρα στις πιο καταπληκτικές τοποθεσίες στην καρδιά των θεαμάτων της φύσης, που επισκέπτομαι την καταλληλότερη εποχή, αφού έτσι μόνο θα δείτε ό,τι έχω δει. Με την συνεργασία μου με οδηγούς και φυσιοδίφες πολύχρονης εμπειρίας, που συνεργάζονται με κινηματογραφικούς οργανισμούς, όπως το BBC και το National Geographic, συμπληρώνω ένα μοναδικό παζλ που περιγράφει η φράση …Ταξίδι ζωής

Η συμμετοχή δεν ισχύει μόνο για τους φωτογράφους όλων των επιπέδων, που επιθυμούν να βελτιώσουν τις φωτογραφικές τους τεχνικές, αλλά και για κάθε ταξιδιώτη που αγαπά τη φύση, την περιπέτεια και την εξερεύνηση.

Το δεύτερο σκέλος αποτελεί την τροποποίηση των αξιών της φύσης σε ένα μοναδικό προϊόν καλής τέχνης και πολυτέλειας, που συνδέει την πραγματικότητα της στιγμής στην άγρια φύση με τη μυστική φαντασία του κοινού. Είναι μια προσωπική στιγμή που μοιράζομαι με εκείνους που γίνονται θεατές στο έργο μου.

Η εκτύπωση και η παρουσίαση είναι μια αγαπημενη εξισου σημαντικη διαδικασία που στοχεύει σε ένα μοναδικο καλλιτεχνικό προϊόν οπου ανταμείβονται όλες μου οι προσπάθειες οι προσδοκίες.

Αυτά τα προϊόντα προκύπτουν από τη διαδικασία Metal Print σε λειες κ υψηλής ευκρίνειας επιφάνειες . Η διαδικασία κατασκευής αλουμινένιων πάνελ χρησιμοποιεί την πιο σύγχρονη τεχνολογία για την παροχή της υψηλότερης ποιότητας. Από την άλλη πλευρά, κάνει τις εκτυπώσεις ζωντανές, ανθεκτικές και άφθαρτες με την πάροδο του χρόνου, καθώς και με πλούσια, φωτεινά χρώματα, έντονη αντίθεση και ευκρίνεια.

Μέσω της διαδικασίας εξάχνωσης των χρωμάτων οι εικόνες εγχύονται στο ειδικά επικαλυμμένο γαλάκτωμα που τους δίνει την ποιότητα της πορσελάνης. Δεν χρησιμοποιούνται χαρτιά, κόλλες ή άλλα υλικά. Έτσι δεν επηρεάζεται από περιβαλλοντικές συνθήκες, όπως η θερμότητα ή η υγρασία. Είναι αδιάβροχα, πυρίμαχα ή ακόμη και ανθεκτικά στην υπεριώδη ακτινοβολία Είναι η απόλυτη επιλογή για εφαρμογές που απαιτούν ανθεκτικά πολυτελη υλικά, όπως η διακόσμηση ξενοδοχείων ,γραφείων και σπιτιων καθώς και για φωτογραφικές εκθέσεις με έργα που συνδιαζουν κορυφαία ποιότητα και φωτογραφικη αποδωση.

Για την Ήπειρο και τα Ζαγοροχώρια

Στην καρδιά της Ηπείρου, τα Ζαγοροχώρια είναι ένα δίκτυο από παραδοσιακά πέτρινα χωριά, που είναι σκαρφαλωμένα στη βόρεια οροσειρά της Πίνδου, στο όρος Τύμφη(2497m) και συνθέτουν ένα παζλ από μοναδικά τοπία, φαράγγια, ποτάμια, πέτρινα γεφύρια, γιγαντιαία βουνά και αλπικές δρακολίμνες. Πρόκειται για ένα φυσικό πάρκο άγριας ζωής, με τεράστια ποικιλία χλωρίδας και πανίδας. Κάθε εποχή του χρόνου, το μεγαλείο της φύσης μετατρέπεται σε διαφορετικές απεικονίσεις χρωμάτων και μορφών. Σε αυτό το μικρό υπέροχο κόσμο φυλάσσονται καλά τα μυστικά της φωτογραφικής τέχνης, τα οποία καλούμαι να αποκαλύψω, κατά τη διάρκεια των φωτογραφικών αποστολών …
